This privacy policy describes the relationship between Orbiiit Technology, Inc. (“Orbiiit”, “we”, or “us”), the products and services operated by Orbiiit Technology, Inc. (collectively, such services, including any new features and applications, the “Orbiiit Services”), and the users of Orbiiit Services (“you” or “your”). The policy describes matters with respect to information including personally identifiable data (“Personal Data”) and other information that is collected from users of the Orbiiit Services.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. It applies to all interactions you have with the Orbiiit Services.

Note to Residents of the European Union: In order to comply with the requirements of applicable privacy laws, this Privacy Policy outlines the legal basis on which we process your Personal Data. Please see the relevant sections below for additional information as required by applicable laws.

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

  1. Orbiiit collects Personal Data from you when you voluntarily provide such information, such as when you contact Orbiiit with inquiries or register yourself or your company online for access to the Orbiiit Services. The type of information we may collect from you includes, for example, name, email address, address, phone number, and other information you choose to provide (for example when entering or voting in competitions). We may also collect personal information where we have a legal duty or right to do so.

  1. Wherever Orbiiit collects Personal Data we make an effort to provide a link to this Privacy Policy. By voluntarily providing Orbiiit with Personal Data, you are consenting to Orbiiit’s use of it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.  We do not sell Personal Data.

  1. If you provide Orbiiit with Personal Data, you acknowledge and agree that such Personal Data may be transferred from your current location to the offices and servers of Orbiiit and the authorized third parties (including services providers) referred to herein located in Canada or the United States for processing and storage purposes. Where information is stored in these jurisdictions, it may be subject to the laws of the relevant jurisdiction and accessible by authorities and law enforcement there.

  1. We receive some other information automatically when you use Orbiiit. This includes data about your device, software, operating system, provided device or user-specific advertising IDs for advertisement tracking, your IP address, and the date and time of each request you make to Orbiiit. This anonymous technical information is not linked with personally identifiable information without your consent.

  1.  We collect information about how you view and interact with content and advertisements through Orbiiit and on third-party sites connected to Orbiiit’s products and services.

  1.  You may link your Orbiiit account to other services you use, such as social networking sites, photo-sharing services and media publishers. If you connect your Orbiiit account with a third-party service, we collect information through that service. This information varies depending on the service and your privacy settings there, but may include profile information (e.g., age, gender and location), your contacts on that service and content that you have made publicly available there.

  1.  In an ongoing effort to better understand and serve users, Orbiiit often conducts research on user demographics, interests, and behaviour based on the Personal Data and other information provided to Orbiiit. This research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis, and Orbiiit may share this aggregate data with its affiliates and agents. This aggregate information does not identify you personally. Orbiiit may also disclose aggregated user statistics as permitted by applicable laws.

  1.  Orbiiit may collect and use your location information (for example, by using the location services on your mobile device) to provide certain functionality of the Orbiiit Services. Your location information is not made available to other users without your express permission. Orbiiit may also use your location information in an aggregate way, as described above in the preceding section.

  1.  Orbiiit does not collect, use, or disclose personal information from minors under 13. If you are the parent or guardian of a child under 13 and believe that they have disclosed personal information to us without your consent, please contact us at [email protected] so that we may delete your child’s information.

USE AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

  1. Your Orbiiit profile, the people and sources you follow, and the comments you post are all public.

  1. If you provide Personal Data for a certain reason, Orbiiit may use the Personal Data in connection with the reason for which it was provided. For instance, if you contact Orbiiit by email, Orbiiit will use the Personal Data you provide to answer your question or resolve your problem. Also, if you provide Personal Data in order to obtain access to the Orbiiit Services, Orbiiit will use your Personal Data to provide you with such access and to monitor your use of such Orbiiit Services.

  1. We use your information to keep Orbiiit running, better understand how you use our service, customize your experience (including the content, marketing materials, and advertisements you see), prevent abuse, and improve Orbiiit’s products and services.

  1.  We share your personally identifiable information only under these circumstances:

  • With your consent, after letting you know what information will be shared, and with whom.

  •  If we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal process. If we’re going to release your information, our policy is to provide you with reasonable advance notice under the circumstances unless we’re prohibited from doing so by law or court order. We may disclose your information without giving you prior notice if we believe it’s necessary to prevent imminent and serious bodily harm to a person. Nothing in this privacy policy is intended to limit any legal objections or defenses you might have to efforts by third parties to compel disclosure of your information, including legal orders from the government.

  •  To our affiliates or third parties helping us offer and improve our service, such as those providing Orbiiit certain technical tools and analytics services (including marketing partners) that help us understand how people use Orbiiit so we can make it better. We require those companies to observe the limitations in this privacy policy.

  • If we sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of our assets, including the information identified in this privacy policy, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets in the event of a bankruptcy. We may also share non-personally identifiable, non-aggregate information with companies that help us improve our products and services, including advertising (such as research companies and analytics providers). As with your personally identifiable information, we require that such companies observe the limitations in this privacy policy.

  1. We may disclose aggregate information about how our users use Orbiiit in a manner that doesn’t identify you individually.

STORAGE AND INFORMATION

  1. We use cookies and HTML5 local storage to help us create your session, know when you’re logged in, keep you logged in for your convenience, and help us remember certain information about how you interact with Orbiiit.

  1.  Most browsers give you the option to turn off cookies and HTML5 local storage, or require your approval before using them to keep information. If you choose not to keep information in cookies or HTML5 local storage, portions of Orbiiit may not work as intended.

  1. Orbiiit also uses web beacons in advertisements to allow Orbiiit and its advertising partners to see how users view and engage with advertisements.

  1. Please note that we use Google Analytics. There is more information about how Google collects, uses, and processes data at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.
